Trinity Building and Construction Management Corp., in partnership with Zuma, Dyer Brown Architects, and BLW Engineers, completed construction of Zuma Boston on the second floor of the city’s newest skyscraper, the Four Seasons One Dalton tower. Zuma is a high-end international concept serving contemporary Japanese cuisine in a stunning atmosphere. Zuma debuted in London in 2002, and has since expanded to cities around the globe, including Dubai, Rome and Bangkok. Their Boston location is the brand’s 12th worldwide and fourth in the United States, following New York City, Las Vegas and Miami.

Zuma Boston has design elements in common with sister locations, including bamboo lanterns featured at Zuma Rome, and a floating DJ booth like the one found at Zuma Istanbul. The DJ booth, as well as the restaurant’s sliding entry doors, hostess stand, and large live-edge bar, were crafted from exotic monkey pod wood imported from Thailand.

Zuma’s 8,000 SF space features three open kitchens: a main kitchen, a robata grill, and a live-edge granite sushi counter, all providing guests with an excellent view of the action as their food is prepared. Also on display is the restaurant’s extensive wine selection, housed in a floor-to-ceiling wine room. Private dining for 22 is available, with a seating area behind the robata grill that can be closed off with a sliding partition.
