Trinity Building + Construction Management Corp announced today that it has formed a new Canadian entity called Trinity Builders + General Contractors, ULC. The new company’s first project is a retail build-out for J. Crew, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Trinity has been operating nationally in the U.S. for six years, and we are ready to expand our geographical reach. We view the formation of Trinity Builders + General Contractors, ULC as a natural next step,” said Paul Mancini, one of Trinity’s founders and Vice President of Business Development + Preconstruction.
“Canada’s economy is largely driven by energy and natural resources and therefore has not had the tremendous downturn that we have recently experienced in the U.S,” said Mancini “Both our current and potential clients either already have operations in Canada or are planning future operations there. We want to be positioned to provide them with the same level of service and certainty of outcome they are accustomed to getting from Trinity in the U.S. We see Canada as a country with a lot of opportunity and we have invested the resources and time necessary to understand the business landscape, as well as the regulatory and legal systems. Most importantly we know how construction is executed in Canada and we have established relationships early with partners we count on to help us deliver for our clients.”
